This project is inspired by my personal experiences of PMS and explores how menstrual discomfort can be visualised through animation. Using clay, handcrafted materials, exaggerated movement, and visual metaphors, I developed two stop-motion animations that approach the same experience in different ways.

A narrative clay stop-motion animation that follows a girl experiencing the physical and emotional changes of PMS throughout the day. Using handcrafted materials such as clay, wire, yarn, and felt, I translated PMS symptoms into exaggerated actions and visual metaphors through frame-by-frame animation.
